Help Wanted: Come to India!
India is a wonderful place to spend time as a volunteer. The sights and sounds are matched only by the enthusiastic smiles and greetings of the hundreds of people you'll come in contact with. Maranatha has several options for volunteering in India this fall. Medical professionals including Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, Surgeons, General Practitioners and nurses are invited to be a part of the medical mission project at the Bobbili School for the Blind September 10-23. Volunteers of all skills and professions are needed for the Open Team project at the Cuddapah School November 4-18. Be a part of campus construction and improvement for the hundreds of bright young children already living and studying on the Cuddapah School property. There will be plenty of opportunity to interact with the kids by participating in worship, classroom work and games. You'll also meet families living outside the walls of the school in their primitive villages. It is an honor to pray with these people and share a smile. Another medical team will visit the Garo Hills in northern India for a series of much needed clinics for the inhabitants of the isolated villages in that area. All medical personnel are invited to the project December 4-14. For more information on any of these or other projects visit the Project Finder on the Maranatha web site.
